I never thought I'd be writing in a blog. Turns out that it is a very useful tool to spread knowledge. I can't count how many times I've been stuck developing an app and did a quick search on google to find a quick answer or a hit to help guide me.
This will also be a portfolio site where I can show off some of my web apps. I've recently delved into developing applications with Ruby on Rails. I finally got my Linode VPS set up with all the current hype.

In the past few months, I have been focusing on sharpening my skills as a web developer. During this time, I learned how to use a couple new tools. One of the tools that I picked up was Git. Being a good developer, I was looking for a tool to host my git repositories. The first place that comes to mind is Github.
While Github is a great place to host repositories, I was also looking for something that would keep track of tickets and such. Github does not have anything integrated into it like I was looking for and I'm not really up for paying for two separate services at two different sites.
Enter Codebase HQ
Codebase HQ is an all in one git repository with ticket tracking and even deployment tracking! My number one praise is the price. They have very affordable plans for everyone. For instance, by the time you pay for any respectable package at Github and Lighthouse, you can have both applications integrated into one at Codebase.
Tell me that isn't a steal!
